Nelu Handa booked Definition Of Knowledge on her monthly Bad Dog Theatre show Yas Kween for the first time about five years ago. At that point, Hannan and I were not really performing together a lot anymore, and had felt like our little poetry thing had kind of run its course. The love, laughs and support we got from the Yas Kween audience totally proved us wrong. Since then, we've been staples on this sold out show. There's no crowd I'm happier (or more nervous) to step out in front of than the one at Yas Kween. That show and Nelu herself are a huge part of what has fueled DOK ever since our first appearance.
